I have a 140 HP Mercury OB for sale. Came from Idaho and lived in fresh water. I picked it up when a friend repowered his boat. This is a 1979 model year and the serial number is 5328162. They have the Thunderbolt electronic ignition with 6 coil packs. New fuel lines and top end wiring. Starts and runs great. This motor is in great shape and with a little work would be perfect for any restoration. $1200, offers considered. I have a matching engine if anyone want two of these. As is, buyer assumes all pick up and shipping costs. $250 deposit within 48 hours of winning bid. Remainder due within 7 days of winning bid. Pick up within 7 days of winning bid. Cash or cashiers check/Money order. Item will be released only after check clears (even if more than 7 days from sale.)
