In present ownership, after a major refit by her original builder, for the past decade MITTEN has been wafted and seasoned by the salty Western Mediterranean air: cruising the Tyrrhenian Sea and appearing at the occasional classic regatta - like an English country cottage time machine teleported to Tuscany. May was asked by a potential client to design a boat that would be suitable for offshore racing and cruising.
