Full Details: Description The Albin Vega is a well tested design and are found worldwide with several having done RTW trips. Long keeled, easily handled and comfortable. Ergonomic birdpit with massive locker stowage and good access from the water with a decent swim ladder. This example has been well cared for and is immediately available. Apparently circa 1977 but she is showing hull number 1839 - so may be '73 or '74. Dimensions Length Overall: 27'1" / 8.25m Length at Waterline: 23'2" / 7.21m Beam: 8'1" / 2.46m Max Draft: 3'10" / 1.17m Displacement: 5,070 lbs / 2,300 kg Ballast: 2,020 lbs / 915 kg Sail area (IOR): 341 sq ft / 31.7 sq m Long fin keel, with lead and iron encapsulated ballast Engines Yanmar 1GM10 approx. 9hp a lightweight single-cylinder auxiliary diesel with a straight drive. Built for optimum power to weight and rugged durability. This engine was fitted in about 1982. Tankage Fuel: 35 l / 7.7 gals Water: 65 l / 14.2 gals Accommodation Manual fresh water with foot pump to sink and same for sea water Gas heating via Riviera gas heater (not currently working)Four berths Saloon: has 2 settee berths with galley next to companionway.
