This is a recorded initial 1947 Chris Craft 16 Rocket with the initial Hercules 95hp Chris Craft K Engine, original glass, hardware and 6 volt system. The initial glass has some blemishes and one little crack. Restoration in 2004 included a brand-new hull, brand-new deck, new frames, brand-new chines, brand-new keel, brand-new keelson, new transom and dry bottom. The initial repainted rocket symbol on the side has been changed with a decal, based upon the original design. This boat was christened after restoration with the name Patriot since this color design was only provided in 1947, the colors of our American Flag. The red seats were expertly made to match the originals with the grab straps for floatation right to the 1936 United States Interior Tags sewn over the vent holes. Runs ideal for enjoyable and makes a vibrant contribution to boat shows and patriotic parades !! This uncommon American Beauty. It is a genuine crowd pleaser wherever it goes. This unique boat.This sale consists of a 2003 aluminum Continental large boat trailer with breaks and extra tires.
