The Kemrock Channel 30 is a classic motor sailer with a modest rig and comfortable accommodation for up to 4 people. The large, solid wheelhouse with canvas birdpit enclosure makes for a light and airy deck saloon while below decks there is a second saloon with seating and galley to starboard, dining table to port with head forward. Large double V berth into bow. PRICE SLASHED - MUST GO Construction GRP hull, deck and coachroof with extensive wooden fit out internally. Shallow draft long keel (1.18m draft), spade rudder and wheel steering. birdpit is sheltered by a hard " dodger" to which a full birdpit enclosure attaches. Hull epoxied 1998. Mechanicals Powered by a reconditioned 1.8lt Ford Thornycroft inboard diesel (2010) producing 80hp and comfortable cruising speed of 6 to 71/2 knots. Shaft driven 3 bladed fixed propeller. Bank of 2 x 12V batteries provide engine start and service power. Reconditioned engine fitted in 2010 New ZF gearboax fitted 2010 Vetus hydraulic steering fitted 2010 Rewired 2010 Last service 2022 Sails and Rigging Masthead rigged Bermudan Sloop wit alloy mast and spars (new 2008) and stainless wire standing rigging. Slab reefing Mainsail with cover and roller furling foresail.
