- Stock #079510 - Approaching this boat on the dock the first thing I noticed was how clean the boat was. After asking to come aboard I realized the boat was even cleaner onboard than from a distance, if that was even possible. This Chris-Craft as been well maintained by not only the current owners, who have owned it for the last 9 + years but also the previous owner of approximately 10 years. I started my inspection of the vessel walking around the outside of the boat looking for any scuffs, dock rash or gouges in the hull. When I asked if I had missed anything the sellers stated that there had be one small gash on the port side at the aft corner that had been repaired. I looked again and could not see where they were talking. Probably the best repair I have seen. The canvas on the boat shows almost new and is in excellent condition. The aft deck is covered with a hard top. The flybridge helm is extremely clean and the snap in carpet shows no signs of wear. Going in to the living area of the Catalina, the first thing you will notice is how well the original wood work is. Clean and oiled regularly it appears nearly new. The wood floors have been replaced with high quality wood. The carpets have been steam cleaned and the berber is in great condition. For guests you have a pull out bed in the sofa. The Seller states that she has never pulled it out. The galley has a 3 burner electric stove, with an ample sink nearby. The built in trash bin for quick clean up of meal preparation is handy. The Norcold frig/freezer has been recently replaced and has had wood grain trim added to make it appear original. On the back counter you will find a microwave and a toaster oven, both will remain. Next is the forward head. It is clean and has just recently had the pump changed out. This smaller head also include a shower. In the forward cabin you have an ample sized sleeping space. The cabin shows well and the hatch appears to remain water tight even for its age. The interior shows no signs of leakage and the fabric is very clean and serviceable. Returning to the master cabin located in the aft of the boat you first see the built in vanity. Again the high quality woodwork that Chris-Craft used has been well maintained and appears nearly factory fresh. A larger sleeping area and under bed storage make this a great opportunity for a live aboard. The master head is larger with a full shower and well lighted space. The engine compartment was clean and well lit. The engines and generator were both clean and according to the sellers well maintained. Records are available at time of the showing.
