NEVER LAUNCHED - 1999 Hunter Channel 27, this boat has been partially completed and remains in her owners garden - ready for final finishing. New sails and upholstery in store! Great opportunity! MECHANICAL Yanmar 1GM10 9hp single cylinder inboard diesel engine with raw water cooling. 10 gallon fuel tank. Shaft drive to fixed 2 blade propeller and rope cutter, alternator charging. Cruising speed under engine is around 5 knots. Engine was fitted new in 1999 by Hunter and has never been run. ELECTRICAL 12v battery system with switch panel fitted, battery box but no batteries included. SAFETY Manual bilge pump fitted. DECK GEAR Stainless steel pushpit and pulpit fitted, varnished tiller (as new), stanchons and guardwires ready to fit, blue sprayhood new in bag, cleats, lines led aft to single winch, jammers, tiller, stainless steel boarding ladder. SAILS Slab reefing mainsailnew and unused). Self tacking No 1 Jibnew and unused). All lines led aft to birdpit. Silver anodised alloy mast and spars (Z spars 1999) and stainless steel standing rigging. Forestay, not furling Jib, self tacking. Mastfoot fitted. Shrouds and backstay, fittings not fitted to mast, stays coiled. DOMESTIC Her galley has a Plastimo Neptune gas cooker with 2 burners, oven and grill, stainless steel sink. Her separate heads compartment has a Jabsco marine toilet and wash basin. Red fabric upholstery (new and unused in wrappers). ACCOMMODATION: She has a potential 6 berths including 2 “V” berths in the forepeak, 2 single settee berths in the saloon and a double berth in the aft cabin. OWNERS COMMENTS Purchased as a Hunter kit in 1999 by her present engineer owner and lifted to his garden for completion. Other interests on retirement and a home aboard have meant that the boat was never completed. She was one of the last built by Hunter at Rochford, her interior will require fitting out, much of this work has been started, templates and wooden panels have been cut and the owner has.
