Description:
I have a 12' aluminum hull airboat with a 6 cylinder Continental 22 ground unit. It has a composite variable pitch prop, grass rake, seating for three and heavy duty polymer bottom. I did not know that the oil pump had stopped working until it threw a rod. That damage has been repaired; but, the motor needs an overhaul. I have parts for another Continental motor. There is absolutely nothing wrong with the hull, seats, cage, prop or rudders. The motor is not frozen up and turns freely. The trailer has been customized since I bought it and is in like new condition, hook up, drive away. If I still had a job, this boat would not be for sale. I am 70 and living on Social Security, so I cannot afford the overhaul. I received an estimate of $1,000.00 for parts and labor.
