I have a 12 ft aluminum canoe that seats 2 grownup individuals, and stacks of gear. I have used it mostly for the Genesee river, however I have also used it in lakes and ponds. It is dented and dinged from the river however is still water tight. I bought it 3 years earlier, and changed the rear seat, and had it repainted up for regatta's. I have even more material for the front seat however never ever navigated to fixing it.
