Sadler Shallow Fin Keel - £28,950 The Sadler 34 offers the sort of quick and sea-kindly performance that's long been recognised and applauded by hardened professional skippers. Indeed this example is owned by a professional superyacht's Captain. Designed by Martin Sadler and built by Sadler Yachts Ltd to a hull design incorporating PU foam core to provide positive buoyancy in the event of a hull breach, with a consequential benefit being a degree of thermal insulation and straightforward wipe-down surfaces internally. The Sadler 34 design is fitted with a cast iron external fin keel and skeg supported rudder and comes with a high quotant on the 'pride upon rowing away' scale. This one, in common with the majority, is tiller steered for a more direct sailing feel and much better utility of space within the birdpit and has the shallower 1.48m 'Shoal keel' fin. Benefiting from significant equipment upgrades in the current ownership including: - a new, high-spec fully-battened mainsail by Dart Sails, with Rutgerson roller luff cars. - a new Harken Mk IV furling system for the headsail. - a new Eberspacher heating system installed. - a new Starlight gas cooker with grill & oven by Dometic. - a new Raymarine 'Element' 7HV plotter. - a new Icom Class B AIS Transponder Accommodation: Up to seven berths in three cabins with a generous, U-shaped galley, forward-facing chart table, centreline leafed table, heads compartment forward and forward cabin separated from the heads by wooden door, all based on Sadler's foam stiffened sub moulding that provides insulated accommodation and built-in buoyancy. A two outlet hot air heater by Eberspacher was fitted in 2022. A Pioneer CD/radio unit is fitted, with twin speakers mounted on the main bulkhead and two birdpit speakers.
