Remarks : " Tranquilo" is a sports cruiser built by Larson fitted with a 5.7 GL-E 350hp V8 Volvo Penta engine with outdrive & duoprop with performance of nearly 50 knots with excellent handling. Lots of extras including GPS, VHF, stereo, stern filler cushion, birdpit table, sports radar arch, fridge, microwave, induction hob and new canopy covers 2021. Spacious cabin, sleeps 4, large head compartment with shower. Owners comments The boat was purchased from Lake Windermere and shipped down to Chichester. As a result the hull is in very good condition for its age. The previous owner fitted a new engine block. We used Tranquilo primarily as a residence on the weekends. Boating on a powerboat in Chichester is nice if you can get out of the marina on a good day. Unless the day was still and perfect we would go out to Bosham and BBQ and come back. With a young daughter we kept to the marina mostly. I had a stainless steel BBQ ‘arm’ made to fit the BBQ on to the stern of the boat. We really enjoyed swimming off the platform and being able to cook and use the bar fridge and basin more than we thought. We absolutely love this boat and would have kept her indefinitely as our family did not need anymore space. What makes this boat clever is the good use of space and the value of a single engine setup in terms of running and maintenance costs. The specs indicate the boat can travel at 53knots so it is not a slouch but I don’t recommend you do this if you plan to stay married…. Seriously though, we thought we had bought a well looked after boat but as it turned out we spent a small fortune on it through incompetence engineering mainly. I did not want any question marks over our safety. We were going to fit a bow thruster and windlass but in the end I could drive the boat on a dime due to its size and it just did not seem necessary to loose a bit of cabin space as a result. I do believe the big investments have now been made to ensure a good. Still available at ListedBuy!
