12 foot Walden Scout This is a decent kayak. One of the better ones I've had over the past 40 years. I use it as a 2nd kayak and do not truly require to keep it any longer. It was repair service on the keel by the last owner. He did an excellent fiberglass task enhancing it. NO LEAKS! I used it out on the river & Muddy Creek numerous times. After attacking the normal rocks, I inspected the fiberglass patch & there was no structural damage, just surface area breaking on the fiberglass where it flares out. So I made use of the exact same 4" large heavy grade military duct tape on this Walden that I used on my Old Towne, to develop a keel guard. Shields cost about $35-65, if you were to buy one.
