Engine is a very rare Ford 427 SOHC Cammer . Designed and built in late 1964 with overhead camshafts, intended for NASCAR, it was Ford s answer to the new Chrysler Hemi. Only about 300 were made with very few originals still in existance. I purchased it new in the crate in 1970 from Holman and Moody. I have owned both engine and boat since new. The engine was modified to 476 cu. in. using the best parts and services available: Reath, Mondello, Velasco, Crower, Hillborn, Carrillo, Venolia, Bassett. It sits on a custom Mr. Ed trailer. Have all the original parts plus some extras. Engine and boat have less than 5 hours run time since complete restoration. Everything is show quality throughout. Runs strong, looks great, is like new! Boat and motor are true pieces of classic history. Asking $85,000 OBO.
