For Sale:. 18' Skin On Frame Greenland-Style Kayak developed as a prototype by Black Dog Kayaks. The kayak weighs between 35 and 40 pounds. This sea kayak is traditionally styled and constructed with contemporary products. It includes plywood frames, cedar stringers, a carbon fiber cockpit coaming, Sea Dog foot braces, fore and aft 1/4-turn hatches, and full deck rigging. The kayak is six years old and was reskinned in 2010 with a polyurethane covered nylon skin. The skin is in good condition and has actually established a good, antique-looking patina. It has been paddled regularly in all conditions on Lake Superior in all 4 Seasons of the year.
