18' StarCraft, presume it's a 1977 since the identification number on the engine appears to be 1977, recently purchased and was told it was a wonderful running watercraft however I have had troubles getting the engine running appropriately.The boat itself is in good condition.Doesn't leak at all, had in the water for 3 days and when drawn out extremely small amount water came out.Trolling motor, batteries and cabling eliminated, DOES NOT COME WITH.Trailer cable winch cable broke so replaced with brand new strap winch, utilized 5 times.Brand name new retractable transom straps.18 gallon steel fuel tank in excellent shape, loaded with premium with 2 stroke blended in, 4 weeks old.Trailer lights all work, appear to be fairly brand-new.Features sun top and sides, vinyl is torn in one area but all poles directly.Vinyl bow cover.Finest choice for motor would be to replace engine with something more contemporary and reputable.Suspect it requires carbohydrates cleaned and rebuilt, was told it was a fantastic running watercraft when put in for storage 2 years back. Starter motor was acting up. Ignition switch requires replacement., if you choose to have the motor removed I will certainly eliminate otherwise it will go with to be fixed or replaced. .
