PRICE REDUCED !!! I purchased this watercraft at an auction as something to play with over the summer season. Well ... my tinkering became a practically complete restoration of this classic 1960 Crestliner, The NEW ADMIRAL "16", model 1710. The trailer has actually been rebuilt. Soda blasted, primed and repainted with marine paint. New wiring, now lights, new running boards and rollers, bearings packed and brand-new tires and rims. The watercraft was soda blasted. New paint was applied other than for the bottom half of the boat which I left the natural aluminum. In this manner when you run it up on sand, you do not have to stress over scratching the surface:). The shelf boards and dash were all changed with white oak (very resistant to water), stained with 6 coats of lacquer. Stainless steel plates were contributed to where the motor mounts. New shift cable was installed in addition to brand-new steering cable television and new wheel. The brand-new deck is built of aquatic grade plywood, covered with marine grade carpet. Four new leather swivel seats were set up. The engine is a late 1980's Yamaha 40 hp. It has actually been completely reviewed, tuned, and runs excellent. This watercraft is perfect for the man who does not really want to invest a load on a brand-new fishing boat but would still prefer to have something clean and solid. Terrific for the boat collector who suches as classic boats. $4500.00 covers my expense on putting this all together, but willing to let it go for 3900.00. (Need cash for sons college expenses:) You get the labor for totally free!
