Description:
Sloop rigged classic yacht constructed in the carvel style using mahogany and pitch pine planking on oak frames. Proctor spars with Harken furling headsail gear, boom mounted mainsail with stack pack and lazy jacks. Inboard Beta BD722 diesel with PRM gearbox, Aquadrive shaft coupling and Kiwi Prop. Comprehensive electronic navigation equipment including Radar, colour chartplotter, AIS and depth sounder. Suit of Saturn sails including main, genoa and storm jib. Mechanical Vessel powered by an inboard Beta BD722 diesel engine. This 20hp work horse was installed in 2015 and has completed 300 hours. Most recent service was in 2023. Single lever engine control mounted in birdpit. PRM 80 reduction gearbox, aquadrive coupling driving a stainless steel shaft and a NEW Gori 2-bladed bronze propeller. Spare gearbox. Engine spares. Bank of 3X12V batteries providing engine start and domestic power. These are charged via a C-TEK200 smart charger. 12/240V panel at chart table with fused selector switches. The boat also has solar panels mounted aft of birdpit. These provide a trickle charge even on the most overcast days. Shore power including cable.
