I've had this 16 foot Pontoon watercraft for about 15 years, got it from the original owner who developed it from a kit he survived Popular Mechanics Magazine. The motor is a 1963 Merc 35hp, runs well, I'm the second owner of it too and I knew the previous owner. The trailer is a "bunk" design with brand-new tires in 2012, lights work, it's registered as is the watercraft. There is no seating on the watercraft aside from the "captain's" chair, I've constantly just made use of yard type chairs and delighted in the open deck when fishing or just laying around in the sun. There's a 35 lb. trolling motor, 2 batteries (one for starting the outboard motor and one for the trolling motor) horn, fire extinguisher, life preservers, interior and navigational lighting. The carpet is a bit rough however functional, the decking was replaced 2 years back. This is a really serviceable craft, but just like any 50+ year old boat it has it's defects, you just need to be somebody who can enjoy it for what it is.
