Description:

Up for sale is a Classic 1965 Larson All American, 17 FT inboard/outboard with a Mercruiser 110.I 'd make a terrible automobile salesperson because I'm going to inform you the troubles up front. 1. The tilt-trim pump leaks down. 2. The seats require to be reupholstered. 3. Soft areas in the floor. Now for the great. It is an excellent little watercraft. I had it out at Rockport today. It doesn't leak at all. I had it out for a number of hours, and when I drew the plug at the end of the day, not a drop of water came out. The engine is a Mercruiser 110, which is a Chevy 153-- a trusted workhorse of the car market. It is a straight 4- cylinder with brand-new plugs and wires last fall. The engine runs excellent and pushes the watercraft truly well at 20-30 MPH.It is an excellent setup for fishing. It has a Lowrance LC X-15 MT fish finder with the big 7" screen (greyscale design). It has six fishing rod holder mounts and four fishing rod holders. All the gauges work well. It has a speedometer, tachometer, engine temperature, oil pressure, amperes, oil pressure gauge, gas gauge and a New speedometer pick-up.All the navigation lights work. It has a great, strong bilge pump, windscreen wiper, and a blower for the engine compartment. The battery is in great condition. I got it last July, and have actually kept it on a battery tender in the garage when it had not been out on the water. There is also a VHF radio for communications and emergency. The trailer is a single axel Calkin's and it tows really well even at 75 MPH. All the lights work, it takes a 2-inch ball and it is wired for both a straight flat 4 prong plug or a round 7 prong. The tires have a lot of tread, and after sitting all winter season, they only lost a few pounds of air. It is a light established, that I have actually lugged with a KIA Sorento-- considering that then, I've upgraded to an F-150, and it hauls simple without killing the gas mileage. The trailer has a great roller setup, makings it easy to obtain the watercraft on and off the trailer.I also have a 2 stroke SeaKing 12 HP trolling motor that runs well. It has electric beginning and a 6 gallon plastic gas tank.Utah just titles watercrafts that are newer than 1985. On older watercrafts like this, the registration works as the title. http://dmv.utah.gov/boats-and-watercraft.Now to attend to the troubles:.Tilt trim pump leakages down-- it's frustrating, but an easy work around. You can adjust the trim up and down-- Just bear in mind to raise it up and tie it prior to you get on the road. It doesn't leak any fluid, so the issue must be inside the pump itself (the pump motor and solenoid works).Seats have to be reupholstered-- I haven't aimed to see what it would cost to expertly reupholster them, but you can get marine vinyl from JoAnn Craft Store for about $60, and make use of a staple weapon to connect it. If you're handy with a sewing machine, you can make it look really good for not too much. The back to back seats are $160 each at Cabelas if you just want to replace them.Soft spots in the floor-- there are a couple of areas in the back. It would be nice to cut them out and put a brand-new piece of plywood in and fiberglass over it. Call or text Jeff at.show contact info.Asking $1700 OBO.
