1973 Chris Craft Lancer. This is a classic cuddy cabin runabout. These boats featured a very strong fiberglass hull with large wooden stringers and bulkheads and are virtually indestructible and very smooth riding. They are a true deep vee hull with a 23 degree deadrise at the transom, making them very seaworthy. I have owned this boat since 1990 and have been involved with it since it was bought by its second owner (a close friend) in 1976. I have made continual upgrades during my 33 year ownership culminating with a second complete restoration 3 seasons ago. This most recent restoration included a complete Alwgrip refinish of the hull and trim, all new chrome, rub rails, upholstery and canvas. The boat is equipped with a 53 gallon fuel tank, hydraullic steering, Bennet trim tabs, a Volvo 280 Duoprop I/O and a 350 Chevy V8 with Mercruiser exhaust manifolds, a Mallory and MSD electronic ignition, high rise intake and custom jetted marine Holley carb. This engine has approximately 200 hours on it. The boat cruises beautifully at 25 to 30 MPH and tops out around 40 MPH. Other features include auxiliary lighting, VHS, a powerful marine stereo, and a Garmin navigation system. This boat has been meticulously maintained and needs absolutely nothing. I have reached a point where it is time to retire from boating and all the extra parts and supplies I have for this boat are included: paint, zincs, spark plugs, custom built snow frames for winter storage, etc. Everything you need to enjoy the boat is also included, such as lines, bumpers, water toys, life preservers etc. The boat is currently slipped in Greenport, located on the North Fork of Long Island in New York and is available for sea trial locally.
