She was built in 1982 as an ocean going steel vessel with a cutter rig to a designed by Alan Mummery. It has 7 berths , a comfortable living area and is powered by a Yanmar 4JH3EHP diesel engine with a shaft drive to a 3 bladed folding propeller.
