For sale a 1983 Wasa 51 Atlantic, USCG documented, the boat is available for viewing by appointment on the hard in Edgemere, Maryland. Seller is recommending that you view the item prior to bidding. The sailboat is a sloop rigged with 3 separate cabins and 1 head, galley, navigation table. She is 51’ long, 10’4”wide, 7’1” draft. She is equipped with a strong running Volvo MD17C diesel engine and a saildrive. 3 cabins, 1 head, galley, A/C unit with heat pump, pressurized water, main, jib, genoa, spinnaker. Boat hull is being repainted light grey. If buyer opts to have the boat trucked away, please note that the stepping down of the mast and related packaging, strappings and handling is not included in this auction, buyer will be responsible all related logistics and expenses. Seller will try to accomodate as much as possible, but kindly reach out to discuss this before the end of the auction. This is a boat designed and build in Sweden. She handles very well in rough weather. Boat is better suited for a crew but note that Seller has been sailing her single handed. The overall condiition of the unit is listed as good, but this is not a new boat and will require some usual and expected maintenance. Interior pictures are recent, exterior picture with white hull were taken last fall, pictures with hull painted light grey have been taken within the last few weeks. Seller reserves the right to end the auction early, within permissions from Ebay, as the unit had been offered for sale locally.
