Scanmar£29,950 The Scanmar 33 is a very well-respected, robustly built Swedish cruiser-racer design by Rolf Magnusson from the mid 1980's. With its elegant lines, sparkling performance and practical yet comfortable layout it is an ideal choice for experienced sailors and newcomers alike With a powerful keel-stepped 7/8th fractional rig (this one with a new mast fitted in 2006), skeg supported rudder, generous sized T-shaped birdpit with wheel steering and an innovative interior plan that will accommodate larger crew numbers than many of her similar-sized competitors if required. 'Rumpleteazer' has started in three Fastnet races in the current ownership (completing two of them in 2009 and 2011) and is still in full commission and ready to be sailed, either competitively if that is your thing, or just efficiently fast cruised. With numerous updates and replacements having been carried out over the years by the current owner, including a brand new Volvo D1-30 engine and new saildrive fitted in 2020/21 with only 46 hours run since, and a brand new Facnor furling system fitted in June 2023.
