Description:
I have a 1985 17" Mon ark, it has a 115 mercury 1985. The motor runs great but requires lower end rebuild. Gears and seals ... The transom had split about 6 months ago and I refiberglassed it added a steel plate to the outdoors and half inch marine grade ply to the in and it is a lot more strong than it was prior to the fracture ... I put it in the water a couple weeks ago and didn't leak however that's when it started the trouble with the gears and I don't have the time to repair it any longer.
