Gilbert Marine was founded in France in 1972, Gib Sea at the time being one of the lines they built. As Gibsea yachts became more and more popular they became a brand in their own right and were later taken over by Dufour Yachts in 1998. The Gibsea 76 was the entry level cruiser at the time, easy and fun to sail but with good comfortable accommodation below to allow for extended cruising. This particular boat has only been in this ownership for a year; she did her job and now the seller is looking to buy bigger and cruise further afield. He completed all the list of actions following her survey and so she appears ready to enjoy. She would benefit from some cosmetics but expected for the age of boat.
