Please read whole post before calling: I have a 1992 Robalo Center console Model 2520 with twin 2000 Mercury 225 hp. I traded my Duramax truck 6 months ago for this boat. I had to get an almost fresh $3000 galvanized trailer simply to transport this thing. Both outboards run however both # 2 Cylinders blew a piston (Weird huh). After doing some research I have actually found out that these are the engines that Mercury had concerns with the # 2 and # 6 cylinders not getting enough oil injection. Guy, before the engines blew the pistons, I was flying on Lake Conroe this thing would jump on top of the water like no ones buidness: ). CyFair Marine said that it might likewise have actually been from the old gas with bad octane. By the way this watercraft has a 180 gallon fuel tank (Tank was also changed by previous owner). I am completely bumbed but I do not have the time to reconstruct these outboards. The previous owner told me the outboards came off of a Donzi and had about 500hrs. on them. I have discovered extra-large restore kits for $800. I have all titles for Boat, outboards, and trailer. Fiber glass looks good, has furino radar, sterio with cd player.
