This watercraft has been in the family for several years, sadly on it's really last voyage down the Colorado River we encountered rapids and misfortune. "Needles Eye" a popular structure of rock in the center of the Colorado River, near the put-in at Pump House, declared our watercraft. The watercraft began off on a straight course, however a lateral wave or some existing pushed our boat right at this rock and the watercraft went directly over the top of the rock! We landed clean in the water, but the eddy was extremely strong and wound up drawing us right back into the rock. The massive waterfall coming down upon the watercraft sank it in seconds, and the watercraft with everything in it disappeared. 300 yards downstream, we found the watercraft captured on rocks. The next day we came back and pulled it out with big Come A-longs. The back end of this boat is extremely severely damaged as it was captured on rocks, the front has minimal effect damage however the water took some containers. Different cracks and dings render this watercraft totaled. If you are experienced in fiber-glass or would such as a boat job then this is for you, but it is not water deserving and harmful to be drifted.-Boat for sale but not trailer.Contact Burton, at 9SeveN0-FiVe3One-ThRee7TWo1.
