Designed by Bill Dixon with a focus on performance cruising, the aft birdpit is a departure from the traditional centre birdpit cruising Moody's. Built to the normal high standards expect of the Moody brand; under the supervision of Llyods the Moody S38 has proved to be a desirable quality cruising yacht. Capable of podium finishes in club races when fully crewed and equally at home making long offshore passages short handed. Many examples have completed extended transatlantic blue water cruises. ‘Fur Coat No Knickers’ (FCNK) is with her third owner since her launch in 1996. Below decks she is the three cabin layout. Optimised for cruising she benefits from not having been thrashed around the cans and has enjoyed continual maintenance and upgrading throughout the fourteen years shes has been with her current owners.
