2006 mercury 25 efi short shaft. Bought brand name brand-new 1-3-2008. Utilized less than three years then got rid of from boat. absolutely nothing is wrong with the motor I fixed the 2003 mercury 25 (2 cycle) that came with the boat and put it back on the watercraft. I simply do not like the 4 stroke engine. The 4 stroke is quieter and is much better on fuel. I am old-fashioned and 2 cycle is what I such as.
