a 1986 Catalina 30 ft sloop rig. needs engine work, needs a top-end rebuild on the diesel. the mechanic I spoke with said the bottom end looked fine no pitting or anything in the piston well or bent rods.new Marine AC unit, autopilot, roller furlings, stereo with Bose speakers, I have mounted an outboard extension on the stern. it's nice and stable going through the stern and rear seat locker so it could support an eight HP.there is also a Yamaha 2.5 power that comes with the boat. I haven't started it but it looks like a newer model. last bottom job was about 5 months ago, just a scraping. the guy said the hull looked like it was in good shape but will definitely need a bottom job before long. rigging looks to be in good condition, all taped and pinned. the truing seems good.2 sails,fair shaperadiowater heater/ on AC for panelgood titleinstrument panel,depth,speed good,,,,directional is out.3 batteries 2 main 1 start4.5 ft draftNew Raritan head, needs installation,stove and refrigerator, inop.the fridge could be fixed easy enough but the stove is safe gas. I don't think they even use the stuff anymorediesel is a stock 21 horse 3 cylinder inline. it will need a complete top end with gasket kit and injectors as well as the fuel management system and tank flushed. when I bought the boat the head was off and it had supposedly been hydrolockedthe boat is titled in South Carolina under the same name I just haven't changed the stern.been staying on the boat for a while and due to medical issues and finances must sell! great deal!!!eBay had rebuilds of this motor for 4800Free, all kinds of extras from binos to 30 amp dock cable Plus new self setting plow anchor Free!! two person zodiac dingy with that Yamaha would be perfectUs sales only please, serious buyers only as well. feel free to message me for any information. non-payment of an auction winner will be reported. no shipping
