I have a huge, blue, fiberglass canoe that I would like to offer. It was a little heavy for my partner to get and put on the vehicle with me, so I got a smaller canoe and now I require to make space in my lawn. When I got the canoe it had many fractures on the bow and stern from running it into rocks or something. The damage was rather severe. I sanded down the harmed sections, epoxied the fractures, then applied a couple of layers of fiberglass over top of the that for excellent measure. I likewise included a layer of fiberglass down the length of the keel for added strength. I repainted the whole canoe, but it's got some scuffs from moving it around the yard. Overall, I think it's pretty strong now and must be ready for fishing or playing around on the lake/river. * However: I have never put this canoe in the water, so I have no idea if it leaks, floats, sinks, or anything. There are still visible fractures on the interior, however I believe I included enough epoxy and fiberglass on the exterior that the interior fractures should be of no issue. You can't translucent any of the fracture from the in to the outdoors, so I have no reason to believe it's going to leak. But that being said, it's offered as is and you might still have to do some work on it. Please call me if your interested. Thanks.
