This is a classic 26ft Boca Grande Passmaster 26 center console Custom Tarpon Guide watercraft. This watercraft was an uncommon find and produced for only a few years by a company called Boca Grande in St Pete, Same company that built an in-board version built, which looks more like a Morgan. This watercraft was particularly built for pass fishing for Tarpon in Boca Grande and Egmont Key passes. Integrateded 1974, there was only numerous of these watercrafts built like this with the narrower hull, unlike the original Boca Grandes that were inboards and a larger hull and lines of the Morgans. This was their outboard variation and would make a perfect tarpon jig watercraft, as well as a hill tide watercraft. It was repainted back in 2002 and the 225 Evinrude was rebuilt during that time too (motor is in the very early 90's). There is just 60hrs on the rebuilt task. The motor can be re-selled for about $1500 as-is. I am informed by the former owner that it takes very little to power this boat and says a 150hp will certainly get the job done. Since of it's design, there is less drag on the watercraft and for that reason drinks the fuel. It's also less weight. He pulled it with a jeep. I pulled it with my F150 1/2 lot pickup and it did fine. I got this boat to rework and re-power it to tarpon fish and bay fish Boca Grande, Egmount, Skyway and fish the reefs off st Pete. Trouble is, I have actually not had the time to get the task underway, not to point out finished. It would make a perfect guide boat. The interior floor has had actually a number of different colored coats of paint thru the years, but it has to be sand blasted and a brand-new coat of epoxy paint applied (genuine boat epoxy paint, not garage paint). The back half of the interior floor (from the ctr console to the transome) requires replacing and the transom has to be closed in. I was preparing to do that and put a motor bracket on and re-power it with a brand-new or recently new motor. The console is great and has a side door for a walk-in bathroom/head. Needs new black plexi-glass panels for the switch and gauge panels (or the back of them sanded and repainted black). I was intending on removing the railing and afterwards setting up a good utilized tower or t-top. I have 2 quotes from regional glass stores to re-do all the glass work and re-paint the watercraft total for $4500 total. I recently found a demo Custom T-Top Tower for this watercraft for around $2k. I didn't get it but it's still offered if the watercraft sells. Trailer simply needs to be cleaned up, new carpeting on the bunk, aluminum framed rubbed out and dealt with, brand-new lights, brand-new tires and have the tongue and winch mount re-galvanized. A new trailer like that brand-new with tax is nearly $4000. About $1000 can entirely re-furbish this trailer.
