Description:
"Missie" is a 20' long steam launch built on a former sailboat Rose hull of fiberglass. Her fore and aft compound condensing engine develops about 3hp. Engine is aluminum with cast iron sleves. Boiler is all copper in a Perkins grid design. Propane burner is hooked to a home type sensor thst kicks on when the pressure gets below 60 and off around 120 pounds. The burner system makes Missie very easy for one person to operate her. The boat was last under steam in 2019 but has been garage kept a d winterized since then. Some hull work and steam plant re-assembly and improvements would be needed for her to steam again. Happy to answer any questions. Trailer is road worthy although tags are not current and I have used magnetic trailer lights when towing. Located North of Cincinnati in Hamilton, Ohio.
