Identify the width of the leading by measuring from mounting point to mounting point (where you want the bimini to attach on one side of the watercraft to the same area on the opposite side of the watercraft).Width options below are given in 6" varieties. As long as your width measurement falls in the 6" variety, your width selection will be right.Bimini frames can "bend" 3 inches out or in (i.e. a 54"-60" width frame assembled will measure approximately 57" in width but can be bent in to 54" or out to 60").Width is the most vital measurement for finding a bimini top. While it is related to the width of your boat, this measurement is not the like "beam" or watercraft width. Determining Bimini Height.Figure out the height of the top by measuring from the mounting point directly up with a measuring tape.Choose the ideal height to fit your needs.A Center Console boat will require a taller bimini top, while a Ski Boat requires a much shorter bimini for a sleeker look and trip.A boat with 30" side rails and a 48" tall frame would supply 78" of clearance. Measuring Bimini Length.Identify just how much of your boat you desire covered by your top by selecting the length. Then choose a maker for your brand-new bimini top made to your precise measurements.The mounting point is located about at the center of the bimini top. A 6 foot bimini covers 3 feet in front and 3 feet behind the mounting point.If you are determining your existing bimini, please note that some tops have a flap or overhang.
