Older-- one owner Old Town Canoe. I purchased this at a shop in Boone in 1990-- I believe. It's been a wonderful household canoe. It is water-tight-- There are a couple of surface-cracks in the hull but only in the top layer of 3-- as far as I can tell. They've been there for at least ten years without any effect. There are no leakages. One paddle included. Canoe is sold as-is, where is. Wood has actually just recently been refinished with new stainless steel hardware. At nearly 17 feet, the Discovery 169 is the lengthiest in the Discovery series. Created to go fars away, the Discovery 169 carries out efficiently even when it is loaded with gear. The three layer construction is created to take a beating. The Discovery 169 is an excellent option for the recreational paddlers who could aspire to go longer ranges or may require additional space and load capability.
