NOTE: MY BOAT NEEDS A NEW POWER SOURCE. It pains me beyond words to list this boat that has brought me such joy, but I must list due to an unexpected personal status. The "Vermonster" is a classic shoal draft boat capable of sailing by most boats nearly twice her size. She is a Beautiful and timeless refurbished 27' Compac Yacht with NEW Interior and completely rebuilt pedestal steering! I planned to install a new diesel (quoted at $3000) or a new outboard (quoted at $2000). I did not have the chance to install due to a personal medical issue. This boat is a MUST SEE at this price point. Not only does she have a new custom interior and new steering but also has a relatively NEW mainsail and job WITH A CUSTOM SAILBAG. I also refinished her deck and teak just making her such a beautiful boat! New running and standing rigging, bow pulpit, swim platform, VHF, Galley, Stove, Ice Chest, forward V-Berthing, Settee, new Head ready for install, lifejackets, lines. NEW bottom paint and waxed before winterization. Do not shy from this boat! All she needs is a new engine. Time to give her a good home back in the bay! In addition, I painted the nonskid with a beautiful sandstone deck paint. She has new lifelines installed in 2020 and a new burgundy bootstrap. The interior is beautiful and cozy with newly stained wood, a Barometer from Weems and Plath, Weems and Plat oil lamp and plenty of storage for a weekend getaway. She truly sails like a dream. Not the quickest duck on the lake, but the sturdiest and most forgiving. She has running and nav lights with electricity wiring for interior lighting (I for one like to use the lamp), She also comes rigged with a swim ladder, new battery bought in 2022, compass, and exterior speakers.
