There is plenty of power evidenced be the 40 plus MPH speed provided by the 5.0L Mercruiser. The 20 rod holders should be adequate for even the best-equipped fishermen. 14 rod holders are on the top with the rigger bases and another 6 in the gunnels. When the fish finder tells you that you are on the fish, dropping and raising the anchor is a piece of cake with the dash-mounted or remote control of the windlass. Other fish handy features are port and starboard fish boxes, rod storage under the gunwales and a live well. If fishing isn't on the agenda, this is an excellent boat for diving and swimming due to the walk thru transom, large swim platform and boarding ladder.
